Searching For Truth was produced with the thought in mind of the great filmstrips of the past that did so much good in teaching the Gospel. This new program is designed to teach the viewer what one needs to know to become a Christian.

The program is available on a single DVD with approximately 4 hours of teaching material, and includes 6 lessons:

Anniversary of “Searching for Truth”

On November 26, 2005 the Gospel Broadcasting Network began their work as a brotherhood broadcasting network. On the second day of operation, Sunday, November 27th, they broadcast for the first time the program Searching for Truth by John Moore. This would be the first time the program was made available for public viewing. Since then GBN has continued to broadcast Searching for Truth as a part of their regular programming. We will never know how many souls have learned the truth.

Just over a month later on January 3, 2006, the first Searching For Truth DVD was shipped from World Video Bible School. In that first year alone, over 300,000 DVDs were sent out. Now 10 years later in 2016 over 1,120,000 Searching for Truth DVDs have been distributed in four languages.

In 2007 the Searching For Truth Study Guide began to be distributed. Now over 148,000 copies have been printed in five languages.

There have been countless numbers of conversions using the Searching for Truth materials, and the glory belongs to God.

This program was written and hosted by John Moore, an evangelist with the Dripping Springs Church of Christ in Dripping Springs, Texas. The DVD is intended for use by the Lord’s Church to aid in the Church’s responsibility to spread the Gospel and teach the lost. This product can be used with a friend, relative, co-worker, neighbor, visitors and/or anyone who can understand the material.
