Marshall Keeble 1878 – 1968

The 20th century saw giants in the Lord’s church who raised the banner of Truth in the heat of battle. In an effort to preserve the influence of some of the most able of these preachers, this series is introduced.

In September 2002, WVBS went to Nashville, Tennessee, to tape an interview with sister Laura Catherine Johnson Keeble (1898-2007). She was just over 104 years old and it was an honor and a privilege to videotape her. She was interviewed by Wesley Simons about the life and times of Marshall Keeble. Also present and interviewed was sister Gwen Cummings, a great-great-granddaughter, who added her childhood memories of brother Keeble.

As a part of the interview, we also taped brothers James Dennis and Jack Wooten, Sr., who were friends of Marshall Keeble and the Keeble family. In addition to those interviews, brother Darrell Broking, who has studied brother Keeble’s life, added many facts and stories.

The total time for these interviews is about one and a half hours.
